The Associated Press reports that Caterpillar is palnning to close its plant in Owatonna, MN, and move its work to Wisconsin and Georgia.

The Minnesota plant employs about 100 people and will close in March 2013.

A spokeswoman for Caterpillar tells the Associated Press that the plant will ramp down production between now and the closing date.

She says the plant will be sold.
